Bottle 33 cl / Drinks of the World - Bern (CH). Black with a generous tan head. Roasted aromas, coffee-choc, dark fruits, licorice. The taste is similar, creamy, cola, coffee, cocoa, licorice, vanilla. Bitter of roasted and earthy hop. Drinkable despite the lack of depth. caribou43 (1183) - Lausanne/Sevilla/Lima, SWITZERLAND - OCT 2, 2017
I bought this bottle in one coop in Luzern or Zürich. I tried this beer at Bonfol yesterday and I was surprinsigly astonished of this beer, the lager of this brewery is really bad, the IPA not bad but not great and this sweet stout is really good, from my own sensation. Firstly, there is a lovely and deep black color, heavy, white and brown foam, regular carbonation for the style. The taste is with roasted malt, dark chocolate, vanilla, liquorice, hop, sweet but dry at the final. This beer is well balanced, to repeat without any doubt. daniele (9660) - ITALY - SEP 29, 2017

Kaba aroma and taste. Lacto sweetness and cacao with some coffee notes like café au lait. Roasted malts giving a less bitter finish through the sweetness and the low carbonation. Could be served with some cake at kaffeklatsch or coffee party.

Süß holzig-röstiger Malzantrunk. Moderat herb bei eher sinkender Süße, spritzig. Die steigende Intensität zeigt sich vor allem in der aufkommenden schokoladigen Malzigkeit, die Röstigkeit wird weicher. Gut! 10/11/12/12/10/12 sdg (163) - SWITZERLAND - OCT 30, 2016
Very nice design of bottle and label. Color is black, light-brown head of which a thin layer remains on top. The nose contains hints of dark malts and chocolate. The first sip contains aroma of roasted malts, coffee, milk chocolate, syrup. It’s quite sweet. The hops take over towards the finnish, accompanied by a slight bitterness. The beer has a medium body, a rather creamy texture, and carbonation typical for a stout. Aroma could be a bit more intense, however it’s another nice addition to the product line of the brewery.
