COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Jacques is Braukollektiv’s deep “C” explorer. Depth-charged with three classic American “C” hops (Chinook, Cascade, and Columbus) and further laced with a touch of Crystal, Nugget, and Citra, Jacques exudes an array of piney and floral aromas. This hop bombardment is nicely complimented by a thin bed of pale malt to bring out a hint of lemon and orange zest that finishes with a warm, resinous bite. This is a beer dedicated to all those explorers out there who like to swim against, rather than with, the tide. Jacques salutes you!

330ml bottles [Hippocampus Brisgoviensis bipartitus, afloat per bartlebier’s regular and surprise box, thanks a (doppeltes) lot(tchen)!]. Cloudy, orangey, bright, deep golden colour with average to huge, frothy, mostly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Citrusy and tropical fruity, slightly resinous, hoppy aroma, notes of passion fruit, mango, lemon, mandarine, lemon zest, a touch of lime, hints of pine. Taste is biting bitter hoppy, resinous, piney, tropical fruity and citrusy, notes of lemon, passion fruit, lemon zest, minimally sweet, crystal malty basis. Gives the real hop kick appropriate to reanimate a paralysed and mummified sea horse.

Thank you Bartlebier! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ Bruges Beer Festival 2017. BBF 070617. Lightly hazy golden, super creamy white head. Nose is lightly yeasty, faint onion hop, citrus fruit hop. Taste is far better than the smell surprisingly, the amazing extreme mandarin, most mandarin fruity forward hop ever, low tangerine peel, faint grass, lightly yeasty. Body is bit yeasty. If only a touch less yeasty & bit more body but very nice, lovely drinking beer as it is with glorious mandarin hop profile.

0.33 l bottle from ’Crafters’, best before March 2017. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, stable, off-white head. Sweetish, very fruity, grassy, herbal-resiny aroma of mango, passion fruit, orange, lemongrass and pine. Slightly bitter, a little sweetish, rather fruity and herbal-grassy quite resiny taste of lots of mango, orange, passion fruit, lemongrass and pine, followed by a short medium long, rather dry-bitter, resiny and herbal-grassy finish. Medium to full body, creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very good!
