from CraftGallery - copper-orange beer with a moderate head retention; woody aroma with notes of gooseberries and raisins; a good malt backbone; light sour, juicy and very tasty; bitter, dry and woody, piney and grapefruity finish - complex and very well-made anstei (2832) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - MAY 6, 2017
Tap at Blackwell Opening. Pours cloudy amber with decent fine thick head. Aroma is sour fizzy candy, citric, light soap. Body is medium, softly sour, some funk, soft carbonation, softly bitter, some fruit and a bit metallic. Medium fruity palate, still funky, little booze. Good! derA (91) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - NOV 6, 2016
enjoyed on brewery premise during a tasting: this one just absolutely went against my palate in a strange way. Nose is overwhelmingly glutamate with some vegetal and grass notes, taste of more glutamate like reduced mushrooms in a salt brine.
