COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspired by the island life, we created an IPA completely disconnected from the mainland. We used our one-of-a-kind Hop Torpedo to deliver an intense rush of hop flavor and the lush aromas of mango, papaya, and passion fruit with every sip. Enjoy our tropical twist on the American IPA. ABV was first 6.7 %

oh6gdx (44945) - Vasa, FINLAND - SEP 8, 2023
UPDATED: SEP 8, 2023 Bottled (from Alko webshop). Ambery golden colour, mediumsized off-white foamy head. Aroma is mild caramel, some floral, fruity and a bit nectary tones. Flavour is fruity, nectary, floral and some bready and mild caramelly tones. Smooth, balanced. Great as SN always is, but also nothing that exciting. But who cares, when the quality and drinkability is this good.

Svesse (14187) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - OCT 18, 2022
UPDATED: OCT 18, 2022 (Bottle) Amber colour, slightly hazy, with frothy off-white head. Fruity, slightly hoppy nose with mango, orange, apricot marmalade, sponge cake and herbs. Malty, fruity taste with notes of mango, grapefruit, apricot marmalade, papaya, biscuits and a generous citric/herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, rounded mouthfeel, a certain sweetness. Tasty and well made, with a generous hop presence. Nice one.

dragnet101 (4474) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - AUG 19, 2022
UPDATED: AUG 19, 2022 Can at 6%. Semi-hazy orange-gold with small white head. Aroma of mango, orange, passion fruit; inviting. Taste is slightly more malty than expected with a hint of caramel. Its also quite piney and drying in the finish. Tropical fruit notes are there in the middle to give a nice balance. Just about medium bodied, prickly carbonation. A touch processed but still tasty.

TBone (27084) - Pori, FINLAND - JUL 4, 2022
UPDATED: JUL 4, 2022 Bottled 355ml (Prisma Sikupill, I think bottled 12/2021) Yellow colour, slightly cloudy, small white head. Tropical fruity and hoppy aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Hoppy front, some tropical fruityness, grapefruit, pale malts. Balanced.

lithilorn (623) - Covilhã, PORTUGAL - JUL 3, 2022
UPDATED: JUL 3, 2022 Hazy pale golden body and white head. Sweet aroma of tropical fruits and some hops. Bitter, sweet taste of fruits with some hops. Medium carbonation and body. A good beer.

FACambridge (1438) - Chelmsford, Essex, ENGLAND - APR 1, 2022
UPDATED: APR 1, 2022 Aroma : Tiny amount of caramel malt, lots of pine resin, some orange & pineapple with only little hints of tropical fruits. Taste : Watery body that a light oily texture boosts a little. Big hoppy bitter bite throughout. Only real flavours of note are pine & light caramel. Tropical fruits are very subdued to non-existant. Frankly one dimensional & disappointing for this renowned brewer (perhaps it didn't travel well to Spain?). Their Torpedo Extra IPA is vastly superior to this!

3.2
hauxe (4002) - Butzbach, GERMANY - NOV 19, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 19, 2021 Gold with a frothy, white head. Tropical fruitiness as advertised, somewhat one dimensional though with the nectarines firmly in charge. And there’s a fermenting hint to it all. Taste is moderate bitter the whole way through. Body to the lighter side of medium, a touch watery at the finish. Drinkable but below average for the style.
