Draught at KØ17. Fruity aroma. Almost black colour, seems clear. The flavour is roasted, sweetish and bready. Dryish finish. Slightly rough roasted barley bitterness. Aniseed finish.

Courtesy of bierkoning. Thanks!.
BBD: 01-11-2018,. Batch: L16352/18.
Pours dark copper with nice light tan head. Short head retention, littlelacing. Roasty, spicy, carame, nuts nose. Medium body, soft carbonation, viscous texture. Taste is roasty, cocoa, some salty touch, malty, robust, palate warmer.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Stas’ place. Thanks kerenmk. Dark brown. Lots of ginger, more spices, caramel, a bit of roast, soy sauce, sweetish, umami, salty, spicy, boozy. Really not my thing.

kraddel (8350) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - JUL 12, 2017
Sampled at LIBF 2017. Thnx for sharing, everyone ! Pours clear, very dark brown, no real head. Smell is spice, dark malts, mild milkchocolate. Taste is spiced, low MF, rather high carbo. Very spiced. Don’t like it too much.

Richardvv94 (102) - Valthe, NETHERLANDS - JUL 8, 2017

33cl from tap at het Elfde Gebod. Appearance: black with a slight reddish hue and medium off-white head. Aroma is dificult to describe. Some dark fruits, chocolate in the back, fresh ginger. Taste: fairly high sweetness and medium bitterness. Notes of 'english licorice', dark fruits, ginger freshness. Palate: medium bodied, oily texture and medium carbonation. Not your average imperial porter, but still nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33cl-fles bij Elie. Merci!

330ml bottle - thanks Euro Secret Santa 2017! (6:4:5:3+:10+=2.8++)
Dark, small tan head. Odd heavy ripe banana aroma, very estery, caramelised, over-ripe. Some strings, some cocoa powder too. Taste rather disappointing, more cocoa powdery, decent roast too, but no interest here. Lightish palate, pleasant carbonation. Ginger burn only gentle. Very disappointing.
