I don’t want to get too hung up in what style this beer is. I’ll start on a sidenote, I know the person this beer was named after. It has not influenced my review, it would if I could review the label (love the Amager labels). The beer looks, well, pretty. I like juicy IPA style beers, I like cloudy, it gives me the impression of getting «more» somehow. I hear people say «I don’t like cloudy beers!» But honestly, can you drink a Punk IPA these days and not think something is wrong? The smell is gorgeous, the perfect whafts of summerly hops, a but of lemon, flowers and quality. The taste is slightly fruity and at the same time proper IPA hoppy, with just enough bitterness to remind you it is a grown up drink. I also love the mouthfeel. I have drunk this beer over 10 times in 2 years, and I think I like it more now than at the start. I’ve had it in bottle here in Skagen (where I am now), on tap in Aalborg, Aarhus and Oslo and at the buss stop nearest Amagers (old) brewery. Not the most charming place to drink a beer, but somehow fitting, considering the name and the story of the beer?

(Bottle, 0.5 l - batch 1724 - BB 12/2018, at Olutravintola Malmgård, 20180302) The beer poured pale golden and nearly cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, citricness, grapefruit and white bread. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, grapefruit and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A pleasant hoppy brew that lacks malty body. Nice bitterness.

Robi dobrze temu piwu.

(Draft glass @ Beerlovers Bar) Weak IPA overall & nothing NEIPA about for me. [Clear golden, creamy white head. Nose is too yoghurt, IPA, doughy & cow fodder. Taste is too yoghurt, cow fodder, yeast, grainy, doughy, weak as far as hop goes. Doughy, yoghurt, cow fodder body.]
