330ml bottle served in a tumbler glass. Pours a cloudy dark orange to amber color forming a small creamy head with low persistence and some spotty lacings formed and left in the glass. Nose is sweet, fruity and acid. Notes of caramel malts, apple vinegar, leather, lemon and lemon zest. Slightly sweet upfront. Notes of caramel malts, apple vinegar, leather, lemon and lemon zest. Becomes quickly sour with a slightly bitter end. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Caramel malts and apple vinegar in the aftertaste. Good drinkability. UPDATED: MAY 10, 2017 Bottle from Erzbierschof Krone. Pours cloudy amber. Aroma is funk, Brett, wild yeast. Body is medium, lightly tart and rather sour. Lively carbonation. Still fruity and funky, quite bitter. Palate lingers on acidity, lightly boozy, but rather dry. Balanced and good.
