From tap at Fermentoren Aarhus. Pours a hazy reddish light brown with a medium sized, creamy off white head. Aroma has nuts, caramel, ginger, sweaty hops, pure sugar, orange orange zest, "pingvinstang karmella", ginger ale. Taste is sour, sweet, spicy, fruity, caramelly. Like a cheap whisky sour, haha! Weird and messy, but funny idea. Average carbonation, light body, but a surprisingly dry end.

Keg at the Tate, cloudy brown with a thin head, toasty gingery nose, spicy demerara-like sweetness over a drying backbone. Distant hints of lemony ginger beer hidden beneath a peppery bitterness.

On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - deep reddish brown. Nice neat off white head. Nose - dank cellar. Taste - red fruits, more dankness and that ginger and lemon grass thing comes through on the finish. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - interesting. Not a brown ale style Ive tried before.

Scopey (13797) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 22, 2017
Keg at Mother Kellys. It pours hazy deep golden - amber with a medium white head. The aroma is quite zingy, ginger, malt - driven, bready, farmyard and lemony tang. The taste is dry, bitter, malt - driven, earthy, brown bread, ginger, peppery spice, lemon and hay with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A bit light and more bitter than I was expecting from the description. Not bad, but below par for Siren.
