Bottle from Cotteridge. Hazy chestnut brown colour with a pale tan head. Aroma has ginger and citrus. Taste light spice and sweet. Medium body.

martpez (327) - Norwich, Norfolk, ENGLAND - SEP 2, 2017
Decent head. Light bit of ginger and some lemon in the mix. Hops are still the major way the taste is coming but for a brown ale it lacks the malts. It's.decent.

Towey1989 (3257) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 26, 2017
Bottle at Beerdock Leek. Pours a hazy pale brown colour with a thin beige head. Aroma of ginger, lime, some lemon, subtle caramel and slight spicy, herbal notes. Taste of ginger, lime, lemon, slight caramel, a little sugar, a hint of woodiness and subtle spice. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A sweetish, ginger caramel finish. Nice and fresh, ginger and citrus aroma but the flavours a little muddled. Weak caramelly and woody malts and the sharp, zingy citrus hit. Ok.

minutemat (6044) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JUL 8, 2017
330ml bottle. Pours a hazy reddish brown, very thin dissipating off-white head. Aroma of lemon juice, lime, ginger, earth. Taste presents an earthy ginger vibe, with a herbal linger and very a faint background lemon sweetness. I love a good sharp spicy ginger beer, but find myself wanting to like this, but not quite getting there. The ginger is there, but not fiery enough, malt presence seems to make it clear this is a beer first and foremost, light bitter spice is good but lemon juice could be more prominent. Good concept, but something doesn’t feel right.

Bottle, 24/06/17, thanks dlite. Pours a murky orange with a small, yellowish-brown head. Not very pretty. Aroma has quite a bit of ginger, some caramel. Taste is gingery, not actually ginger water, but still the ginger dominates the flavor too much.

240617. Bottle from Beer Cartel. This beer is a cross between a brown ale and a ginger beer. There is loads of ginger in the aroma and a fair bit in the flavour with a spicey finish. Malty with a brown colour and a tan head. Good combination of ginger and malt.

33cl bottle a thome. Somewhat pale reddish brown with a medium slightly off-white head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Herbal sweet and bitter tones with some sour notes. Ginger, wood, malts, caramel, lemon and brown sugar. Weird but very nice.
