This delicious, premium blonde ale from Fuller’s is the perfect combination of unbeatable flavour and refreshment.
Brewed using a unique blend of malted barley and wheat for a delicious malty taste bursting with rich, biscuity flavours, Liberty hops are then added for a distinctive zesty character and fruity bite, whilst Saaz hops add a gentle bitter taste for a clean, refreshing finish.
In cask, Discovery is 3.9% ABV, while in bottles the strength is 4.5% ABV.
Discovery tastes great served chilled, and its light, refreshing character makes it a perfect accompaniment to many foods.

Bottle. Golden in colour. Malty; biscuity malts, buttery caramel. Fruity; citrus lemon; zesty. Hoppy; floral and grassy hops. Sweet malty and light floral hop bitterness. Light bodied and a bit thin. Easy drinking. (2009-11)

Golden color with a nice white head. Malty, fruity and citric aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonaion. A really fresh and rich flavor. Fruity, balanced malty and mild citric hoppy. Lovely session able beer.

Bottle in Shoreditch House. Rich golden colour, white foam head. Nose is combination of sweetish honey and cereal grain malt profile, biscuit malt, grassy tones and citrous. Taste is lightly citrous, honey, robust biscuit and cereal grain malt with some grassy hay hop character and citrous bitterness.

Sparsely foam. Aroma of citrus and lots of hops. The taste may not be as rich as expected, but conversely, it has a good floral final with semi-dry and nice hoppy bitterness. That makes it a good thirst quencher as perfectly suited for spring and summer. To summer light salads and light grilled meats, I also believe it is well. It is not bad.

Pours a bit darker golden color, topped with an average sized white head. Malty aroma, some fruity nose and grassy as well. Slightly sweet and fruity at first, followed by some grassy notes and very mild bitterness. A mild and drinkable one.

Good body with full of flavour. Citrus/zesty and hoppy and really enjoyable beer. This is my favourite style of beer.

djoeye (6937) - Tromsø, NORWAY - APR 24, 2014
Brown 0.5L bottle abv4.5%, pours a white head on clear golden body. Grassy hops, pale sweet malts and dusty hay to the nose. Crystal clear sweet malts, crispy grassy hops and mild peach to the tongue. Fresh mild on palate, easy light body, quaffable. Overall a good beer.

allmyvinyl (12298) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 6, 2013
500ml bottle at home. Pours clear pale gold, thin white head. Aromas are honey and light citrus. Taste has a bit of zest, more honey sweet. Finish is ok, lemony. Not bad.

Unde (1497) - Helsinki, FINLAND - OCT 6, 2013
Golden ale with small head. Honey malt aroma with mild wheat. Hints of wheat on the taste but mainly honey malts and some citrus bitterness at the end. Not awesome but good.
