Can. Red version. From decervecitas. At Barcelo Punta Umbria Mar. Deliciously aromatic, very hoppy, citrusy, with some tropical notes. Not exactly a neipa because of a strong, harsh herbal bitterness more proper of a west coast ipa

Can picked up from Cotteridge Wines, Cotteridge, Birmingham, consumed at Camping Don Quijote, Cabrerizos, nr Salamanca, Spain, Saturday 30th June 2018. Pours murky yellow colour with a slim white head that swiftly departs. The aroma is a little blunt, however in the mouth this shines in a way that the BBN DDH No:1 failed to, there is no aggressive hoppiness here, it's got a good bittersweet balance, ok it's juicy but it's a very drinkable beer considering its a style I am rather a weary of. Green City: pours haze. Citrus aroma. Dry. Not too bitter. Easy to drink. I like it. Nice fruity touches. Juicy.

UPDATED: JUN 24, 2018 Can, 440 ml. Looks like a 100% peach juice. Foam is big, bubbly, goes away quite quickly. Typical Citra hop on the nose, the sensable bitter aroma gives a straight red grapefruit-driven smell with nectarine and peach (and a hint of lemon in the background). Palate is very rich and fruity, the same fruit cocktail is on the palate like the nose was. High IBU, medium+ carbonization, very long grapefruit aftertaste. Absolut winner, the Spanish beers - regardless of styles - are exceptional, and - as i know - they're quite good value stuffs there - so i think i'm already a big fan of Spanish beers.

Can shared with my colleague Kees @ Van Moll. Hazy ugly yellow color, small white head. Same and taste malts, hops, bitter, hop bitter. Decent body and carbonation.

Pours a hazy peach coloration with a medium, foamy head. Smell is bright and hoppy, dominated by citrus fruit with hints of tropical fruit. Notes of orange, tangerine, passion fruit and guava. Taste is quite hoppy and juicy, with very little malt presence detectable. Flavour profile is dominated by quite zesty citrus fruit: orange, tangerine, lime, with hints of tropical fruit: passion fruit, guava and a very light dankness in the background as well. Finishes with a medium bitterness and very light hop burn in the aftertaste. Smooth, effervescent, but not particularly creamy mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation. While this is not quite on the same level as Tree House or Cloudwater, it's still a damn fine NEIPA. What I like about this is that's it's not too sweet and with a good bitterness. Also has that mild, pleasant hop burn sensation that reminds me of Cloudwater NEIPAs.

44cl can, canned 02/01/2018, BB 03/07/2018. Bought at Garage Beer, Barcelona.
