mykolam (10) - - MAY 2, 2019
UPDATED: MAY 2, 2019 On tap at Ste Elisabeth Pub. Nice colour and head, more bitter than you might expect a rousse to be. Better than the 'meh' consensus on these boards, but not an award winner. 'A fine beer for when you're thirsty '.

mcberko (27402) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 5, 2019
UPDATED: MAR 5, 2019 On tap at Archibald – Montreal Airport, pours a clear copper amber with a medium white head. Aroma brings out subdued earthy hops, with some pine, and toasted bready malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted bready malt and earthy hops. Balanced well, but nothing extraordinary.

bunget (1167) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 23, 2019
UPDATED: FEB 23, 2019 Can. Clear copper body, huge beige head with good retention and lots of lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, hard candies, some dusty herbs and soaked wood chips. Taste of caramel malt, candy sugar, some herbal hops and mineral water. Ok-ish.

UPDATED: JAN 19, 2019 Ni trop complexe, ni trop simple. Une bonne rousse. Probablement ma bière préférée chez Archibald. Se boit très bien.

solidfunk (11896) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - DEC 14, 2018
UPDATED: DEC 14, 2018 Another one where they are checking in the time card like an account. Fits style well but doesn't exceed any expectations. Amber pour with pretty good head and lacing. Rust aroma with light caramel. Tap at airport brewpub.

AleRider78 (2160) - Winchester, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 28, 2018
UPDATED: NOV 28, 2018 On tap at Dog and Bear Pub, Toronto. Pours a good size frothy lightly tanned head and has an amber appearance. Big thick sticky lacing. Aromas of toasted malts, mild earthy hops. Flavours are mostly on the malty side with some subtle citrus and earthy hops in the mix. Drying mouthfeel. A little bit of bitterness on the palate.

Can enjoyed from a mason jar at my hotel room in NL. Spirited carbonation gave me trouble pouring. Slightly hazy dark yellow color with a huge bubbly white head. light bready crackery pilsner malt hints of floral hops and a touch of clove that shouldn't be there.
