Tap at Erzbierschof Winterthur. Pours clear shiny amber. Aroma is fresh cut grass, some pines and flowers. Body is dominated by bitterness with mostly malty sweetness, not residuals. Feels almost like an amber or a red ale. Rather dry palate, nuts. Okay.
courtesy of Claude Degen - hazy reddish-amber beer with a moderate foam left; very fruity aroma of oranges and cherries; a good malt backbone; tasty, grainy; quite dry and bitter; subtle carbonation; long aftertaste of berries and pines
