Gerbeer (7207) - Nanoose Bay, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 30, 2022
UPDATED: MAY 30, 2022 330 ml bottle. Pours black with short head. Aromas of stale black coffee, dusty dark chocolate and roasted malts. Flavors follow same with emphasis on coffee. Kinda light, but clean coffee beer. Holding up nicely from 2017.

mcberko (41769) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 11, 2019
UPDATED: JUN 11, 2019 330mL bottle at R5 Micro Bar, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma exudes intense, dark roasted coffee, with liquid dark cocoa and light roasted malt. Flavour is heavy on the coffee upfront, followed by liquid dark cocoa accentuating this. Low residual sugars, wine a roasty coffee finish. Excellent.

Bottle @ home shared by TomHendriksen. Opaque pitch black color, average sized brown colored head that diminishes relatively quickly. czar (14997) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - APR 4, 2018
on tap at griendel, qc. unclear very dark brown pour with a very creamy light beige cap offering good retention and lacing. lots of dark coffee, almost smoked beans, kind of vegetal ground coffee, underlying burnt caramel, yet some complex layers of it, some sweetness - chocolate coulis if not molasses; english yeast. moderately low carbonation, medium to full body - very oily; sweet but not never cloying coffee-spicy finish. a complex almost smoked northern imperial stout that is probably really fun when fresh, for its coffee component. enjoyed!

Ljus (872) - Quebec, CANADA - MAR 20, 2018
Apparence : Noire, léger col brun, carbonatation moyenne.

Whatup14 (3399) - Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 19, 2018
Bouteille 330ml. Couleur noire opaque, mousse moka. Arôme de café plutôt vert (presque poivron vert), cacao, malt torréfié. Goût de café, légère acidité, malt torréfié, infime amertume. Carbonatation moyenne-faible, corps moyen-dense.

Kauge (2508) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 17, 2018
Bottle from Alcostock. Bottled 04.01.2017; BB 04.01.2037. Having it too soon maybe, but it inclued coffee, so maybe the sooner the better, despite the BB date? Loads of delicious fresh ground coffee in aroma, in the flavour the coffee is a bit biting even, but still very good, with a sweet chocolaty undertone. Wow, such a delicious and stimulating brew! Perfect to sip at 2 A.M. I'm really digging this!
