COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Filtered, and lagered but unpasteurised. Launched in 2000 as Jenlain Blonde. Changed to Jenlain No. Six in March 2005, with Jenlain Blonde name being used for a new 7.5% beer. With its splendid golden hues and fruity tones, Jenlain No. Six has a distinctive bitter finish and a hoppy nose. The barley-scented liquor sparkles under its light, foamy head. Light and thirst-quenching, with a rich characteristic savour, it is best served at between 5 and 6°C, with a meal or as an aperitif.

On bottle from GC20 supermarket at trainstation in Perpignan. Clear golden color, ok foam. Medium/low aroma intensity; some fruitiness, honey and some stale cardboard. Medium body & medium light complexity. Immediate sweetness, some balancing bitterness- ends up a little too sweet.

gsmitty80 (2130) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 22, 2015
Pretty weak pale ale that was too carbonated and didnt have enough hops. Farmhouse taste was a little present but it didnt do well to help the beer.

MarkoNm (6135) - Novo mesto, SLOVENIA - MAY 17, 2015
Pours a clear, light golden color, topped with an averagely sized and quickly settling white head. Malty aroma with some presence of grassy hops and a bit yeasty. Taste starts malty, followed by some bitterness with the addition of some soury feel and yeasty notes again. A bit metallic in teh aftertaste, and not that nice alltogether. But not unpleasant.

Clear, pale golden colour with a fizzy, white head that faded very fast. Fruity aroma with grains, grasses. High malt taste. Medium body with a lively carbonation. A nice, drinkable pale lager.
