COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A bright India Pale Ale with low bitterness and great flavors of pineapple and stone fruit. Large amounts of hops such as Chinook, Mosaic, Ekuanot, Citra and Simcoe create a unique tropical taste and aroma in the beer. In addition to pilsner malt there is oat flakes, unmalted wheat and wheat malt. This creates a soft and juicy unfiltered beer. The background to this beer is the new kind of India Pale Ale, New England IPA, which emerged in the eastern US lately. A long time ago, 1638, Swedes emigrated to America and formed a Swedish colony – New Sweden, on the East Coast that lasted for a few decades, which has inspired us to the name of this beer.

Malts: pilsner-, vete, ljus karamellmalt, havreflingor och omältat vete

Hops: Chinook, Mosaic, Ekuanot, Citra och Simcoe

From notes. Enjoyed at the company Cheese Party in Graz, Austria on January 11. 330 mL bottle. The pour is a darker golden yellow with a nice small cap of off white head and a couple spots of good lace as it falls. The aroma is nice. There is a good juiciness to it up front and a light and growing bitter hop. There is a hint of malt that peeks through, but the leafy hop bitterness and light juiciness carry this one. The flavor is much of the same. The bitter hops control front the start and the nice juiciness comes in late. This one has a little bitterness to it, and balances well. I like it. The mouth feel is light and clean with a brighter carbonation and a lingering bitter juiciness on the finish. I like this one quite a bit. Thanks Björn! 7 4 7 4 15

Malty, fruity taste with bread, tropical fruit, grapefruit, pineapple, mango and a generous citric/tropical bitterness. Medium body, with a light sweetness. Tasty and refreshing with a fresh hop character. Nice one.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma of passion fruit, pineapple, pine, grapefruit, yeast and a bit of sweat. Pours hazy deep golden color with medium frothy white head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts medium sweet grainy and fruity, following is pungent hoppy and grassy, mouthfeel is astringent and mild spicy, while finish is harsh bitter with long lasting aftertaste. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Seems hell of a bitter to me, that’s a top class IPA...
