KW92 (1621) - Warszawa (Warsaw), POLAND - AUG 8, 2017

Butelka z datą : 27.02.22
AROMAT : Dosyć intensywny. Wyraźnie słodowy. Wiśnie w czekoladzie. W tle wyraźna nuta leżakowania, Whiskey (alkohol plus "drewno").
SMAK : Potężna słodowość. Doskonale zbalansowane. Gorzka czekolada, kawa.
Stosunek jakości do ceny - rewelacyjny. Ok. 10 PLN za importowane piwo w butelce 0.33 ml, wysoki (niemal 11%) poziom alkoholu. Jestem na tak!

Czarne nieprzejrzyste z mikroskopijnie drobna bezowa piana ktora lekko zdobi szklo. Polaczenie kawy ze slodka czekolada, prawie bez wysycenia z lekko palona goryczka. Sporo ciala, piwo jest bardzo gladkie i dosc slodkie. Alkohol daje o sobie lekko znac.

stravale (3078) - Co. Westmeath, IRELAND - JUN 5, 2017
Bottle from O’Brien’s, Athlone [300417]
Good design on bottle / label combo. Pitch black, thin tan head dissipates to edge
Aroma of dark meaty malts, hint of alcohol, some dark fruits, getting dab of whisky
Taste of rich dark malts, touch of whisky, soft roasted malts, dab of bitter dark chocollate, getting fruity note as well
Palate - Medium carb, full body, quite sweet, rich texture, alcohol present but OK. Finish of dark malts, warming alcohol
Overall - Great to see more impys brewed in Ireland - this is a good one

Nice treacle scent ,very slight coffee aroma ,mouth is rich and full bodied which quickly descends to very light taste of lactose sweetness with a very delicate whiskey after taste

alekp2 (10) - POLAND - MAY 11, 2017

culchiem (4027) - Berlin, GERMANY - MAY 9, 2017

Bottle shared at the flat. In Warsaw. An oily brown coloured pour with a light tan head. Aroma is earthy socks, peat whisky, jammy berry. Flavour is composed of semi sweet wood balsa, tannin, oak, boozy, brown apple, sticky brown sugars.. Palate is sweet and sticky. Harsh woody tannin. Pretty enjoyable but some rough edges.
