(on tap @ Taphouse) Poured at fridge temperature into a Taphouse shaker reveals a semi-clear golden body with one finger of off-white head that fades leaving a bit of film and lace. Aroma is a bit murky with some lingering deep fruity notes possibly remniscient of papaya and considerable sodapop. There’s also a slightly tart or funky hint in there. Soft carbonation, oily texture, medium to full body and a lingering bitter finish. Flavour has moderate somewhat grassy bitterness and not that much sweetness. I would say this beer is far from what I have learned to associate with the style and a bit difficult to drink in larger quantities.
