On holiday at a new cafe in Hunawihr which was selling beer and charcouterie. This was 8%. Appearance - golden and cloudy. Big head. Nose - zingy with tonnes of banana-like esters. Taste - more banana and possibly pineapple. Palate - medium to full bodied with a creamy and tangy middle section. Dry tangy finish. Overall - good. Quite like an Abbey Tripel.

Blonde un peu forte mais qui passe bien. L’étiquette se laisse bien regarder aussi...

Bottle at Mulhouse, France. Clear light golden with big frothy off-white head. Light sweetish and alcoholic aroma with some fruitiness. Sweetish malty flavor, very alcoholic, yeasty with notes of caramel and some fruitiness, unpleasant bitterness in the finish. Moderate carbonation, medium-bodied. Funny label, poor beer.

Bottle, 33cL, 8% alcohol. Home. A brown orange opaque beer with a huge creamy head. Great retention and lacing ! Fruity aroma (citrus and grape, quince), herbs, caramel. Medium sugary sweet balanced with medium refreshing bitter. Medium body, silky texture, good carbonation, toffee bittersweet finish. Overall, yes! Beautiful, good balance and delicious fruity aroma.

Orange yellow with big lacing lasting foam head. quite normal aroma and taste, it’s the label that fascinated me. (Parijs 201411)

Calisky (3801) - ALSACE, FRANCE - OCT 28, 2014

General : Pas necessaire d’y revenir
