I bought this bottle at Boisson Center Malley. I drank it the last Saturday, at home, in Lausanne with my wife. In my point of view, it is an interesting beer, a good mix between an IPA and a stout or porter. At the beginning, the color is a delicious black body, thin and white/brown head, normal carbonation. Bottle shared at the Leighton tasting 08/06/2017. Many thanks to Adrian Tipple for this one. A nutty brown coloured pour with a lasting mid tan head. Aroma is brown bread, jammy fruits, brown sugars. Dark brown malts, charcoal, dark fruits, a bit of pine. Hazy, very, sweet brown, massive, frothy, beige head. Light bitter. Bottle shared in London - cheers! Pours clear, rich brown with a frothy, yellow-tan head. The nose holds well toasted malts, a little cocoa, toffee, pine. Medium sweet flavour with more bready, moderate burnt pine, nips of cocoa. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with further toasty pine and brown bread, some ripening citrus. Tap at Erzbierschof Zurich. Pours black with a light beige foam. Aroma is almost a porter, mostly roasted malts, slight grassy hops. Body is medium, rather bitter and still roasted, soft carbonation, present malt body without being sweet. Lingering bitterness and liquorice. Good.
