Delicious, well balanced pale ale, tasty in the winter and a thirst quencher in the summer.

Tap at Kai Whakapai. Clear golden with white head. Sweet bready malts, soft white grape and a bit of lychee, crisp toast, light grassy, crisp pils malts. Just medium sweet and medium bitter. Just medium bodied with slight dry finish. OK.

500ml bottle. Subdued aroma of resinous hops. Clean taste of pineapple and biscuity malts. Easy drinking, restrained pale ale. Pretty nice. TrappistRater18 (16) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 5, 2018
Nicely balanced pale ale that is very easy on the palate and nose. Perfect amount of carbonation, produces a nice head over a clear amber pour. TedE (2533) - Glen Innes, AUSTRALIA - OCT 1, 2017
330ml bottle into pint glass (as Emerson's 1812 Pale Ale). Clear bronze beer, creamy white head, a myriad of tiny bubbles. Patchy lacing. Nose is earthy hops, pepper and citric fruit. Zingy and fresh with a bitter hop kick then a long lingering citric finish. There's some toffee in the background too. Excellent pale ale. Complex and moreish. 330ml bottle. Pours a murky gold with white head. Slightly hoppy nose. Light body with fresh zesty hop notes and a lingering bitterness.
