@Zürich Bier Festival - light hazy dark reddish-amber beer with no foam; sour aroma of prunes and Vin Jaune, fair and well-integrated woody notes; full-bodied, subtle carbonation, solidly sour; long aftertaste of wood, apples, prunes, some warming alcohol notes and a lingering sourness

Bottle at Erzbierschof MC. Pours clear ruby with a coarse foam. Aroma is prune, dark fruit, slightly boozy, some red wine barrel. Body is heavy, sweet, fruity, and slightly slightly sour. Palate lingers on fruit. Very nice!
