Low fermented beers as Lager are most common in our region. Why not brew a Lager with a pronounced hop flavor, but not as bitter as a Pils ? Our answer: HOPPLA! Hoppy Lager. 5 different traditional hops are added during cooking and dry-hopping and give a floral and herbal flavor with slightly notes of citrus. Oops - what a scent in the nose!

Type of beer: Unfiltered Lager
Alcohol content: 4.9 % vol.
Bitterness units: 28 IBU
Original gravity: 11.8 °
Color: 10 / light yellow-orange, naturally cloudy
Odor: malty mixed with green hops, floral hints, citrus, herbal notes
Flavor: mild, bready with well-balanced hop character
Mouthfeel: lean structure, soft, slightly creamy
Finish: slight pleasant sweetness, quite noticeable hop flavor

traditional meat, fresh goat cheese, raclette and fondue, as appetizer and welcome-drink

I bought this beer, in one coop supermarket in Luzern. I drank it tonight at Bonfol with Vincent and these f..... hornets. In my point of view, it is an average beer not so hoppy lager that you could expect, a beer light like some springs waters. Firstly, I find the body pleasant for the eyes: creamy yellow and troubled and clear. The foam is a bit higher than usual and the carbonation is a bit sparkling. The taste is really watery for the watery, especially at the beginning of the taste and after the taste and aromas become a little stronger, malty, sparkling sensation in the mouth, fruity, discreet hop but it is present, refreshing.

from supermarket Coop - translucide golden beer with a white foam left; aroma of pears, sulphur and paper; thin-bodied, moderate carbonation; light spicy and fairly hoppy finish; sweet

33 cl bottle @ Berggasthäus Sücka, Liechtenstein. BBE 09/2017. Aroma has interesting bretta notes and minerals. Flavour has some minerals, mild fruitiness and some grapefruity hops. Lacks character.

Herb hopfiger Antrunk, monoton getreidig und stark karbonisiert. Hellmalzig, mild getreidig bleibend, die Hopfigkeit nimmt deutlich ab. Trinkbar. 10/7/8/8/9/7

Bottle. Light golden, hazy, average to large and mostly diminishing head. Light malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish aroma, faint caramel caramel and light - some floral fruitiness, light citrus/herbal hoppyness. Body is light to medium, malty - ligtly grainy and lightly sweetish, faint caramel and light floral fruitiness, light citrus/herbal hoppyness. Finish is short to average, malty - grainy and lightly sweetish with light floral fruitiness, light citrus/herbal hoppyness. Bit thin kellerbier. Nice head though.

Bottle. Hazy very pale yellow color with big white head. Aroma is grassy, hay, pale malts, quite pellet like. Taste is a bit grassy, pale malts, a touch of sweetness, even a bit of sugar icing. Natural carbonation. Okay, not too interesting - but also quite drinkable.

anstei (2358) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - MAR 27, 2017
Bottle. Pours clear yellow. Aroma is some grassy hops over a solid lager malt recipe. Body is light, a little buttery, and mostly defined by the soft but forward carbonation, leaving little sweet malt flavours. Palate is medium long but shy. Quite okay, but no revelation whatsoever.
