Nose is caramel, light spice, charr, toffee, dried fruits, mellow roast malts. Taste comprises roast malt, caramel dollop, chocolate, bitter fruit rinds, black peppery spice, charr. Bottle shared by omhper, thanks. Very carbonated. Long lasting light brown head. Nice arom from cara malts and coca cola. Dark roasted caramell malt taste. The beer has a tuch of astringent bitterness ( possibly from the dark malts).

The great pre GBBF bottleshare at ChrisO’s. Almost opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Palate is airy and dry, good fine carbonation. Dry and slightly bitter dark malts, offset by a little malt cream. Spicy mid. Dry spicy finish. Standard stuff.

minutemat (14649) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - AUG 10, 2017
330ml bottle from trade with Anstei. Many thanks! Pours pitch black, small foamy tan head Aroma has some light roast and sweet spice, bourbon or even rum perhaps. High carbonation on the palate, with some vibrant, sweet spice, cherry coke and dark malts. Had to double check this wasn’t barrel-aged in something. Ok, but carbonation is offputtingly high.
