COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Yu Lu is an intricate beer with layers of flavour that remain distinctive, yet work in perfect harmony. Her name alludes to the mystical history of the humble tea leaf, which delivers subtle bergamot orange and lemon notes here, accentuated by the addition of lemon zest. Her delicate hop high notes will leave your taste buds sparkling. The newest member of our core range, Yu Lu offers balanced flavour that belies its low strength. Perfect, refreshing drinking for any occasion. Find it on keg, cask or in bottle all year round from Friday, 31st March 2017

Keg, Builder's Arms W8. Light pale gold colour, white foam. Quite cold and a bit too fizzy. Very light malt profile, clean fermentation, some light citrusy notes, low to medium bitterness. Pleasant enough to drink, but tasted thin and a bit artificial.

beer-yum (1866) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - SEP 9, 2017
Restrained aroma in a hazy yellow gold pour. An excellent alternative to the usual UK session ale (warm malty flavour profile). Tastes way better than water (s does tea/coffee) - and does little more damage.
