Beese (4550) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 16, 2019
UPDATED: JAN 16, 2019 500ml bottle. Wow, so apparently the last time I drank this predates me rating beers (any more than out ten). Not really the fond memories of buying a four pack in Tesco and drinking it on a bench in a field because the pubs all close at 11:00. Not sure if it’s not as good a beer, or just that my taste (and of course the selection of beers) has improved so dramatically in the last 16 years... it looks nice enough, but it’s overly sweet and too heavy on the malt. Also the filtering and pasteurisation is unpleasant.
