Grumbo (19923) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - MAR 1, 2024
UPDATED: MAR 11, 2024 11/3/2024. Bottle shared at 4TT. Bought at Norwich Arts Centre fundraiser following World Beer Awards. Pours unclear mid-brown with a large frothy off-white head. Aroma is malty, nutty, caramel, earthy, root vegetables, swede, citrus, pine. Moderate sweetness and medium earthy bitterness. Medium body, smooth, quite low carbonation. Hints of chocolate came through. Certainly not a modern IPA, but very interesting and drinkable.

labeerinthum (7903) - Milano, ITALY - MAR 8, 2023
UPDATED: MAR 8, 2023 Bottiglia. Territorio olfattivo dominato dal fruttato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente.

UPDATED: FEB 12, 2021 hazy brownish amber colour, large, dense, beige-ish ecru head; aroma of orange juice, tangerine, pear, canned apple, piney and some grapefruity notes; bittersweet taste with the same notes as can be felt in the aroma; good IPA

Quack-Duck (11866) - Down South, GERMANY - MAR 7, 2019
UPDATED: MAR 7, 2019 bottle from Schützengarten Getränkemarkt Kreuzlingen. Deep mahogany brown colour, tall off-white head leaving lacework. Resiny hop aroma. Full-bodied with a delicious malty base, almost chewable, plus loads of resiny hops. Not very fruity, but full of pine and resine. Very nice.

anstei (3818) - SWITZERLAND - OCT 11, 2017
Bottle from Drinks of the World. Pours brown with a big head and a medium retention. Aroma is resin, pine, forest floor, very low citrus. Body is medium and predominantly bitter with not much else. Some resin again, dried dark fruit, lively carbonation, but not much of a malt backbone. Palate is bitter and sweetish. Way too extreme and unbalanced.

Bov (14982) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - AUG 4, 2017
from Bier-Bienne - quite clear dark amber beer with an orange hue, moderate beige foam left; quite clean fruity and resiney hoppy aroma, light soapy; a good malt body, moderate carbonation, pretty sweet and with a late bitterness, roasted malts, some earthy tones and more red fruits and pineapple in the finish, hints of caramel and light warming notes of alcohol
