jamestulloch (5188) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 11, 2019
UPDATED: MAR 11, 2019 Can from The Beer Cave. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. No lacing. Aroma of grain and corn. Flavour of sour grain, toothpaste and musty cardboard. Thin body with a watery texture. Light fizz. The first poor beer I’ve had from Lervig. I’m surprised they released this - it’s horrible.

UPDATED: FEB 3, 2019 Draught at The Kilder Bar, Digbeth, Birmingham. Gold with white head. Well this proved to be a pretty basic lager from the start, malt lead, some crispness, some lemon lime saaz type notes. It's okay.

NORSAND (154) - Lillestrøm, NORWAY - OCT 27, 2018
Nose: Rather sweet notes of malt, hay, butter and a hint of bonfire smoke. Taste: Thye arrival is quite creamy and slightly sweet. The body is medium to medium light. The finish has Just a little hops bitterness in body but fairly correct for a Pilsener. The aftertaste is fairly long, with some butter caramell sweetness balanced by yellow hay bitterness. Quite good Pilsener on the sweeter side.

Tap @ Pudel. Pours transparent golden with a little foam on top. Nose is grainy, malty and a bit sweetish. Tastes similar, grainy, malt base, crisp when chilled. Simple pilsner, not that bitter but also not too sweet, so I can drink this quite casually I guess. Does not create a lasting memory but maybe that's not the intention here.
