Dark burgundy / brown color, no head, aroma typical of whisky barrels (apples), tastes of burnt caramel, a bit of smoke, fruity, alcohol quite hidden - doesnt burn. Quite OK.

3.4
MonsterMagnet (1678) - NETHERLANDS - JAN 18, 2018
Tap, pours a pitch black with a teeny head. Sticky and boozy, roast, boozy, apples, peat. Too much booze and barrel, too little balance.

puren (1352) - Gdańsk, POLAND - JAN 13, 2018
PREZENTACJA: brunatno czarne, piana mimo wymuszania śladowa, po nalaniu od razu przyjmuje formę obrączki;
AROMAT: suszone i przejrzałe owoce, sos sojowy, torf, syrop klonowy, nienachalny spirytus;
ODCZUCIE: ciało wysokie, płaskie, zaklejające całą jamę ustną i od pierwszego łyku rozgrzewające przełyk i trzewia;
SMAK: podwędzana śliwka, suszona brzoskwinia, toffi, sos sojowy, torf;
OGÓLNIE: zdecydowanie degustacyjne piwo; ciekawy w nim jest wyczuwalny torf; brakuje goryczki lub silniejszego wspomnianego torfu.

3.2

karpik (1540) - Sosnowiec, POLAND - DEC 28, 2017
Peat, caramel, raisins, apples, booze, wood and chocolate in nose. Pours dark brown with beige head. Taste is sweet with peat, apples, caramel, raisins, alcohol and wood. Medium bitter finish both hoppy and boozy, soft carbonation, oily texture. Overall good sipper, aging may only improve it.

4.1
Lore (3018) - Budapest, HUNGARY - DEC 20, 2017
dark brown colour with reddish hue, moderate sized creamy beige-ish head; aroma and taste of dried cherry and raisins soaked in alcohol, slightly burned plum jam with alcohol, whiskyand herbal (liqueur) notes, some licorice and soy sauce, hints of chocolate and biscuit; not that typical barley wine, but still really enjoyable
