UPDATED: AUG 14, 2019 Bière testée en beer flight à l'auberge de jeunesse de la Malbaie. Blonde très pale et transparente ce qui est surprenant pour une bière à 7. Nez de Lager léger, sans grand intérêt. Bouche sur le sucre et les céréales, aqueuse, bière de soif avant tout bien qu'un peu trop sucrée pour être désaltérante.

Nez : Grosse présence de la levure belge : épicé (poivre, coriandre), fruité (agrumes). br /> Goût : Malt brioche, levure belge épicée, agrumes présents, mais moins qu’au nez, la poire s’imposant davantage.
Sensation : Corps moyen, épicée, longueur moyenne.
Bref : La levure belge ici est immanquable, autant pour les aspects fruités qu’épicés. Touche sucrée, un peu trop sur la poire à mon goût, un peu trop épicée aussi peut-être; c’est bien fait, mais pas nécessairement dans l’interprétation que je préfère du style.

Robe jaune paille, arôme caramel, sucré ,goût de malt caramel, onctueuse, agréable à boire sans plus.

Some. Sediment bright yellow tastes raw dough some honey some vanilla lillies slight tang. Slight pepper. Very palatable.

Surprising strong belgian beer, pale beer I thought it could have been a witbier or a weissbier, overall, a good one.

Bouteille de 500 ml. Couleur blonde avec un grand col blanc. Arôme de céréales, de sucre et de fruits sec. Goût sûre regroupant la rhubarbe, le trèfle, les céréales et un peu le houblon. Bière assez surprenante qui se démarque des autres.

Appearance: hazy pale gold with one fat finger of fluffy white head, good retention and soapy lacing. (4/5) Aroma: bready yeast, floral, spices, hint of banana. Hazy dark straw, almost golden color, with storming activity and floating yeast. Thick creamy and frothy beige 4 finger island head, lasting around 15 minutes, with thick legs. Flavors of sweet grains, caramel, barley, lemon, apples, apricot, Belgian yeast, floral spices. Dense bready malts, a good level of fruity sweetness, balanced with lots of zest and a sharp citrusy feel. Slick and smooth medium body with almost champagne like carbonation, highly crispy. Medium strength finish, sharp lemony yeast, a bit dry, hints of clove and banana, with a soft butterscotch feel and flowery hops. I find it almost like a cross between a pale ale and saison. The taste is very nice, weel balanced and intensified, with the proper highly fresh Belgian sensation. Overall excellent quality craft, while I find it lacks the complexity of a closer Belgian interpretation, like the Raftman.

Bottle from ??? - Color: clear golden blond beer with medium carbonation and medium white foam. Smell: fruity and floral nose. Chamomile, floral. Taste: medium body with good malt backbone, sweet and floral taste. Good attenuation. Very drinkable. Aftertaste: floral and sweet. Wet bitterness.
