Colour and sight: Dark brown-red. A compact white-yellow, stable and lacing head. Scent: Touches of caramel, mocha and chocolate. Spices such as liquorice and coriander are also present. Flavour: Initially, a very good mouthfeel of alcohol and softness. This is followed by an increasing bitterness, partially from the hop, but also from the roasted malt and chocolate malt. Towards the end a nice balance between bitterness, sour and sweet.

Bottle. Opaque deep amber colour. Pretty head. Spicy aroma. Liquorice, coriander. Additional dark malts, dried fruit. Medium body. Relatively dry taste. Liquorice, mint (?). Rich malts. Light minus bitterness. Good indeed.

CraftyHare (128) - Adelaide, AUSTRALIA - DEC 9, 2017
330ml bottle pours very dark brown-red with thick creamy beige head. Aromas of dark fruit, dark malts, yeast and spices. Tastes of dried fruit, molasses, aniseed, burnt toast, nuttiness, a hint of cocoa, Belgian yeast and scotch whiskey. Some very dark characters in there. High carbonation and decent body. Dry finish with mild bitterness. Not too much to fault.

Nikokaoja (402) - Ljubljana, SLOVENIA - OCT 27, 2017
27. 10. 2017, Ljubljana. Bottled. Dark, dark red colour, with big fluffy head with low, low retention. Aroma hints a souerness. Taste is quite unique, more to the malty sweet side. Hops and bitternes are barely noticable. Mouthfeel is fluid, med to high carb. Complex beer that evolves during drinking. Love it.

Hazy brown with a lasting off-white head. Sugary, caramel, licorice, roasted. Bitter, very sweet. Not all that good.
