ineedbeer (3824) - California, USA - JUL 24, 2023
UPDATED: JUL 24, 2023 On tap at International Beer Bar in Zurich. Aroma is grain forward and a bit bready with light herbal, woody hop note. Faint, poopy, sulfur note but not in an off-putting way - I don't think it's from fermentation and may be from the hops. Pours a slightly hazy, pale yellow-gold with a medium large, thick, pillowy, white head that recedes steadily to the edges where it lingers. Medium low lacing and faint legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with light grain notes and a bit of bread. Medium light bitterness and faint alcohol warmth. Medium light peppery, herbal hop notes. Mouthfeel is light bodied and crisp with medium carbonation. Low astringency and faint alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid lager if you want one that has a bit of character to it. The hop notes are noticeable and in a bit of a non-traditional way with a malt presence that is a bit more pronounced. Still finishes fairly dry and crisp.

PowY (4562) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - JUL 18, 2020
UPDATED: JUL 18, 2020 18.7.2020: 500 ml can at home, 4.8% ABV, bb. 20.5.2021, bought at SimplyFine. Pours a clear golden with a white head. The aroma is lightly to medium malty with sweet grains, light bread, hints of biscuit, some hay and straw. Light to medium watery body with an average carbonation, a light sweetness and hardly any bitterness. The flavor is unfortunately full of cardboard along notes of grains, sweet grains and some hay. Finishes with some grains and an idea of hop bitterness. Overall pretty empty and not overly pleasant. Aroma: Appearance: Taste: Palate: Overall:

Lore (6815) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUN 28, 2019
UPDATED: JUN 28, 2019 clear golden colour, one inch of dense and quite stable white head; aroma and taste of a malt-dominant lager with some cardboard, metallic and floral/honey-like notes…I would not say that it is bad…but is it really a golden/blond ale?...because as a golden ale, it is not really good…

eduardovl (1832) - SWITZERLAND - JUN 17, 2018
UPDATED: JUN 17, 2018 500ml can served in an ordinary glass. Pours a clear pale yellow color forming a medium creamy thin bubbled head with good retention that forms and leaves lots of soapy lingering lacings in the glass. Nose is sweet, bready and crispy. Notes of flowery and citrus hops. Slightly sweet upfront taste. Strong notes of sweet pale malts and grassy hops. Cardboard and citrus hints. Smooth but persistent hops bitterness. Very light body. Medium carbonation. Pale malts and grassy hops in the afteraste. Good drinkability. Reminds a Lager but, apparently it's an Ale. Good session beer. Much better than the large production Swiss Lagers.

Belle blonde qui attaque le nez dès l'ouverture de la bouteille. Très rafraîchissante.
