COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brooklyn Lager, the Brewery's flagship label, is New York's "hometown" beer, brewed to a pre-Prohibition recipe that dates back to the days when Brooklyn was the brewing capital of the East Coast. Brooklyn Lager has won numerous awards. Wrote Michael Jackson in the Simon & Schuster Pocket Guide to Beer: "The dry-hopped, fresh, flowery, firm, flavourful, Brooklyn Lager **-*** started well, in 1988, and has gained in character since."

Burk 355 ml från Systembolaget. Bärnstensfärgad lager med fint skum som dock snabbt lägger sig men lämnar rester på glaset. Markerad beska och fyllig smak. En mycket god lager.

12 oz bottle. Floral aroma with a slight pine. Pours amber in the glass, very clear with no sediment. Nice carbonation. A perfect blend of sweet and bitter. Light malt finish that is balanced by a subtle hint of hoppy pine. An excellent lager.

Fajna piana, jasne złote, klarowne. Fajny aromat i smak, bardziej przypominający pale ale niż lagera, chmielowe, średnia goryczka jest ok.

UPDATED: SEP 11, 2018 Reddish gold pour, clear with thick foam. Citrus hops and caramel malt in the nose. The roasted malt comes out in the flavor with a touch of yeast, the finish is bitter hops. Slightly slick texture. Surprisingly hoppy. August 2012

Przyznam, że jest dobrze. Porządny lager, choć popracowałbym nad aromatem. Reszta jest ponadprzeciętna.

UPDATED: AUG 29, 2018 A full flavored lager with earthy taste. Nice hint of grapefruit. A wonderful appetizing colour. Very nice to drink and goes well with food, especially chicken and rice.

UPDATED: SEP 18, 2018 Floral, grassy, a little bit malty(even with hints of caramel and honey) on the nose. Light amber colour, long lasting fine-bubbly foam with nice lacing, visible carbonation. Taste is round malty backbone with raisins traces, following by refreshing but unimposing bitterness. Medium perceptible carbonation when you drink it. A little bit zesty(almost acidic)fast changing into moderate bitter aftertaste. Light to medium body. Balance of citrusy hops and deep caramel malts. Pithy and full flavored lager, far much better than commercial ones.

Pours light amber with a full head. Aroma of light malt. Tastes like malt and yeast. Palate has malt and yeast. Aftertaste similar to that of some German wheat beers.
