Brooklyn Lager, the Brewery's flagship label, is New York's "hometown" beer, brewed to a pre-Prohibition recipe that dates back to the days when Brooklyn was the brewing capital of the East Coast. Brooklyn Lager has won numerous awards. Wrote Michael Jackson in the Simon & Schuster Pocket Guide to Beer: "The dry-hopped, fresh, flowery, firm, flavourful, Brooklyn Lager **-*** started well, in 1988, and has gained in character since."

Lager jak lager - niestety, na rynku są lepsze odpowiedniki w lepszej cenie.

Pours light amber with a full head. Aroma of light malt. Tastes like malt and yeast. Palate has malt and yeast. Aftertaste similar to that of some German wheat beers.

UPDATED: AUG 7, 2018 Pours clear amber with medium white head. Aroma is hops and citrus. Taste is like a nice lager with a touch of hoppy bitternes. Pleasant beer.

UPDATED: AUG 3, 2018 Good lager with malty after taste. Pours copper colour with white head. Is a nice drinkable beer but wouldn’t want too many in any one sitting. Lacks a little bit of character for me.

UPDATED: JUL 11, 2018 Mooi oranjekleurig bier met een snel inzakkende kraag. Een complex fruitige geur en een bloemige hopsmaak met een aangename bitter in de nasmaak

355ml bottle from Perla in Lazur, drunk overlooking the sea garden in Burgas. Pours almost clear with a well-retained, beige froth-and-mousse head, a good collar of lacing and persistent visible rising carbonation. Mid amber in colour. Aromas of orangey citrus with notes of apricot, caramel and honey. In the mouth, medium carbonation, mild bitterness, very slight sweetness, flavours that offer a balance of citrusy hops and deep caramel malts, light to medium texture, no alcohol presence, before a crisp, refreshing, medium-length finish. Overall, a lager brilliantly crafted in the image of an APA, quite similar to hoppier variants of kellerbier. I want more.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours copper with a white head. Taste sweet, malt, light. I thought this was OK. I could drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JUN 30, 2018 Good lager. Actually tastes of something. Quite dark and malty with a crisp zing to it. Way better than the other lagers on tap.
