jesperhammer (5079) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 28, 2018
24-FEB-2018, draft @Skaal, with the familiy. Black with a lasting, lacing, grey head. Wouw! Burnt Wood aroma. Taste is peat and roasted malt. Medium+ body. Way too peated for me.

From tap. Pours dark brown, unclear, with a deep amber glare. Small tan and creamy head. Aroma is dense peated and roasted dark malt. Sweet, peated. Deep caramlish malt beneath. Iodine peated. Dry far finish.

Ungstrup (39535) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - FEB 12, 2018
Draft. A very dark brown beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of peated smoke, iodine, roasted malt, and a bit of chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, peated smoke, chocolate, and a bit of iodine, leading to a dry smokey finish.

TBone (19190) - Pori, FINLAND - OCT 14, 2017
Tap at Beer Hunters. Dark brown colour, medium-sized beige head. Very peaty aroma. Medium-bodied. Peaty, a bit licoricey, toasted simple.

Rask0lnikov (1682) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 23, 2017
On tap at Brewdog Helsinki. Pours pitch black colour. Moderate beige head. Peat, smoke, bitterness in the aroma. Peat, smoke, hints of bourbon, bitterness in the taste. Peat and smoke in the aftertaste. Some oaky and bourbony notes as well. Other aspects of the porter do not come out very well. Quite dry, bitter, bit alcocholy, bit sharp, quite freaky porter. Taste may be out of balance.

Hermod (8983) - Vantaa, FINLAND - SEP 23, 2017
Keg @ Brewdog Helsinki. Poured dark brown color with a thin off white head. Lots of campfire smoke, peat in aroma. Ashy, peaty, but lacks body. Peaty finish.

mjs (7946) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 23, 2017
(Keg at BrewDog Helsinki, 20170923) The beer poured clear and nearly black. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had peat, whisky and toasted malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were peat, sweetness, caramel, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was peaty, burnt and bitter. A beer lacking too much beer.

strap (981) - Sindelfingen, GERMANY - SEP 22, 2017
on tap at Kraftpaule Böblingen. Holy Shit was I drinking scotch or beer? heavily peaty, strong whiskey aroma, good scotch flavor, smooths out as you sip. i'm usually not so big on whisky beer, but this was solid.

VastActiv (8288) - Oulu/Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 22, 2017
Tap at Brewdog Helsinki, Helsinki. Color is reddish brown with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Strong peat, tar, some smoke, dryness and roasted malts. One-dimensional but pretty nice. Needs malts. Very nice aroma.

3.7
tiong (8068) - Espoo, FINLAND - SEP 22, 2017
Draught @ Brewdog Helsinki. Pours dark brown, almost black with a sticky foamy head. Aroma of peaty malts, roastiness, whisky, oak, wood and tar. Taste is heavy, peaty and woody with loads of oak, whisky, roastiness and hints of tar. Finish is malty, roasty and peaty with some whisky, wood and oak. Quite a peat overdose.,
