Highhopes (285) - Madrid, SPAIN - APR 12, 2019

jinroh (4531) - ESTONIA - JAN 31, 2019
UPDATED: JAN 31, 2019 330ml bottle. Pours darker orange, closing to golden. Nose is nicely rich, fruity and lightly tart. Some apricot pulp there with some apricot peels. Tastes super juicy, tart and well, superbly drinkable. Really loving the aftertaste, ripe apricots right there. Creamy and juicy, bitter linger in the finish, dry and juicy. I do enjoy this. Bit old school but definitely fruity and beautiful. No booze at sight, well hidden strength there,

nephirem (2325) - CROATIA - JAN 18, 2019
UPDATED: JAN 18, 2019 Bottle, 0.33l. Hazy orange/copper pour, one finger soapy off-white head. Short to medium retention, persistent thin layer on top. Some broken lacing on the glass. Strong fruity nose, apricot and tropical fruits. Caramel in the background. Full body, soft to medium carbonation. Thick and creamy, chewy texture. Really nice. Interesting sweet/bitter/sour combo. Bitterness is a bit tamed, it's more on the sweet side with subtle sour notes towards the finish. Strong malty caramel backbone. Aroma of apricot and tropical fruits. Molasses, liquor. Apricot jam, quite chewy. Alcohol is there, but not overpowering. A bit dry, though. Slight burn lingering on the tongue throughout the finish. Overall, pretty good but I find the Guava version better.
