UPDATED: JUN 5, 2023 Clear vanilla colour, medium to smooth body. Aroma of rice and yasemine. Taste of rice, flowers, some mild sweets.

UPDATED: MAY 20, 2021 At M Bar in cordial aka overgrown shot glass. Appearance indistinguishable from water. Indistinct fruits, pear, apple, cantaloupe, and a twinge of starchy paste on the nose. Sweetness is countered with noticeable booziness. Not insignificant velvety viscosity gets quickly drowned in saliva, ngl. Finish is actually somewhat tart and a little bitter.

UPDATED: APR 4, 2021 Pours clear. Pear aroma. Sweet pear flavor with some booze. Medium body with no carbonation.

UPDATED: SEP 28, 2019 I picked this sake up at a local asian food supermarket. I wanted to give something a try and went with this as it was made locally and had a decent price point. I ended up picking the small bottle just to try it. I was REALLY impressed with it. It had great fruit notes, a nice complex flavor profile, sweet but not cloyingly sweet or overpoweringly sweet. I could taste a lot of different layers of flavor in the sake, so I was very happy. Also, it felt like the sake tasted better when it was cooler, i'll probably go with a large size bottle next time and keep it in the fridge to refill my glass.

UPDATED: JUL 17, 2018 US-made, quite good. Smooth, clean, fruity. Not overly boozy despite the high ABV.

Refrigerated 300 ml black ceramic bottle. Completely clear with no head. Aroma is nice malt, medium body, no carbonation, and no lacing. Taste is light grain, some rice, and a little alcohol. Not my thing.

Bottle - Pear and rice notes. Rich sweetness. Clear. Cantaloupe and creamy rice/yeast. Touch of alcohol.

300ml black squat bottle from Swirl & Sip in Mosaic. Guinomi. Chilled. Clear slight yellow/green. A: fragrant, with floral and fruit notes. T: pear, vanilla, booze. Dry. Tasty.

(Bouteille provenant d’un Cost Plus World Market): Du riz très parfumé, coco, vinaigre et vanille. L’éthanol est bien présent, le corps moyennement liquoreux, très asséchant, on sent bien la puissance du liquide. Longue chaleur dans le palais et impression de pureté réussie.

Verre de dégustation chez Kyo Bar Japonais (Montréal, QC) au coût de 6,30$. Arôme: Odeur de riz avec une pointe fruitée. Apparence: La couleur est paille jaunâtre. Saveur: Léger goût de miel et de fruité. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement onctueuse. Faible effervescence en bouche. (Rating #6767)
