I am an American Pale Ale with crazy amounts of pineapple and a hoppy unplugged attitude. Who are you?

Just as a person can have different moods, who say a beer couldn't? How do they say? "Friday I'm in love", or whatever. Just let me wear these babies! I am still the same pineapple beer. Just as you, the days are different and so is my mood. Today I am Friday.

Ingredients: Water, barley malt, wheat, oats, rye, pineapple, hops, yeast.

330 ml stubbie bottle bought at CitySuper in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui.

Looks: Cloudy hazy straw pale golden with a thick ring of dirt-like yeast sedimentsTwo finger head with soapy white foam which lasts for 3 minutes; Good sticky lacing with fizzy carbonation.

Aroma: Fragrant light Ale malt, with yellow fruits, fair pineapples, light perfume, floral, sugar, spices, biscuits, lemon and very strong grass.

Taste: Close to light sweet fair Ale malt, with wheaty tartness, grapefruits, faint pineapples, soda, floral, very light sugar, spices, pine, light biscuits, strong lemon, medium bitter hops and strong grass.

Body: Mid to light body. Thin but fairly slick palate.

Mouth Feel: Light Ale maltyness in a watery background. Pretty soda-ish and juicy, with zesty citrus hops and just a touch fo pineapples. Flowery with light sweetness. Piney spicy with strong lemon to round. Pretty nice, but where are the pineapples?

Hoppiness: Yellow fruits, light perfume, floral, spices, lemon and very strong grass in nose. Grapefruits, floral, spices, pine, strong lemon and strong grass in taste; Bitterness is fair for a lasting, medium astringent bitter-sweet light malty finish.

After Taste: Quite dry. Grassy citrus and bitter to mouth.

Comments: This one promotes loads of pineapples, but they are just a pin drop in aroma and taste. Very grassy with citrus zest, it's more like a hoppy soda then an APA. It is tasty of course, but not what it advertise. Looks like this brewer specializes in bluffing.

Bottle, 4.7%. Fruity aroma, mild pineapple. Cloudy yellow colour. Small frothy white head. The flavour is fruity and slightly watery. Low bitterness. Clean, but fairly anonymous. Reminds me more of witbier than American pale ale.
