Bricks (1236) - Delaware, USA - JAN 1, 2019
UPDATED: JAN 1, 2019 Dark brown/black.. fairly lifeless color, but with a great tan/light brown head. Smell of malt, candy, and maybe cherry?? Some chocolate too.. not super sweet on the aroma. Taste is molasses, bitter, malt, dark chocolate... not as thick as I'd like. It's a good stout.. but not great.

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2018 Poured opaque black with a 2-finger tan head. Aroma is mostly chocolate, maybe just a touch of the cherries. Full-bodied, with just a touch of oil. Long, dry finish. Flavor of chocolate, with a touch of bitterness. A note of sweet-tart cherry lies underneath.

AWISLguy (4368) - Wisconsin, USA - MAR 12, 2018
12oz bottle from the Craft Beer Cellar in Pewaukee. Black pour with a brown head leaving a ton of streaky lacing. Aroma has caramel, sweet molasses, cherries, roast, and some coffee. Taste is of sweet malts; caramel, molasses, sweet and tangy fruits, some simple sugar and some roast. A bit to the sweet side, but to be expected from the style. More than medium bodied, the blend is fine, but sweet, and there is a bit of an alcohol presence. Finishes malty, but tasty, sweet. Nice solid brew. 13.8

Dark brown with a tan head. Roasted malt and chocolate flavor fades into a sour cherry finish. Interesting beer
