jann3 (899) - Espoo, FINLAND - JUL 16, 2019UPDATED: JUL 16, 2019 Pours slightly hazy amber with a beige and frothy head. Aroma is sweetish with notes of ripe berries, raisins and slightly roasted malts. Taste is mild and sweetish with raisins, bread, some fruitiness and a hint of caramel. Finishes with yeast and moderate crispy herbal flavour. Smooth and slightly watery mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Somehow confusing and incoherent overall. FatPhil (26060) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 4, 2018Tap (OlutExpo 2017, Helsinki) (4:4:4+:3:9=2.4)
Rough malty aroma, dirty and earthy. Less dirty taste, just. Medium palate, pleasant carbonation. Messy brew. Hmm, I'm getting some banana here now too, weird.
Psytron (6676) - Turku, FINLAND - JAN 29, 2018Smell of malt, some caramel. Beautiful copper colour, high amber head. Aroma of malt, some caramel, some papery notes in finish. Rather pure otherwise. Actually the first one from EOP that doesn't taste like a pils. Lively carbon, bitter, medium sweet.
mice (3140) - Espoo, FINLAND - DEC 22, 2017Clear, amber beer with huge light beige and stable head. Aroma has malts and bread. Taste has malts, bread and bitter herbs. Very nice amber ale!
laiti (11480) - Tampere, FINLAND - DEC 16, 201750 cl bottle @ Nurmo. Brewed 28.09.2017, BBE 31.05.2018
Aroma has sweet berry juice, minerals and sweet malty notes. Fizzy and foamy palate. Flavour has minerals, some sweet maltiness, slightly tart berries and some fruity hops. Too dry and fizzy. Gotta love the printed brewing date on the label.
thellgren (2312) - Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 10, 20170.5 l bottle from K-Citymarket Ruoholahti, Helsinki. Amber, cloudy, big head. Taste is hoppy and malty. Something you would expect from a decent bitter, excluding real ale weirdness. This is actually very good - everything is in balance.
Rune (24546) - Tromso, NORWAY - DEC 2, 2017500ml bottle from Pien Helsinki. Decent off-white head leaving lacing rings down the glass. Deep amber coloured body. Almond and leafy hops on the nose, inviting. Mixed taste profile of mid-sweet almond, bit of toffee, forest, and leafy hop bitterness towards the finish. Nice. (Hotel room, Helsinki 28.11.2017).
TBone (27081) - Pori, FINLAND - NOV 27, 2017Bottled 500ml (PIen, brewed 28.09.2017)
Deep amber colour, medium-sized off-white head. Aroma has some flowery hops but mainly kind of tartish notes. Light-bodied. Caramel, flowery hops, light tartness and earthyness. Hard finish. Weak with some unclean notes.
