Svesse (9313) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - MAR 12, 2018
(Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 8 Feb 2018) Amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, black-currant, toffee and citrus. Malty, hoppy taste with caramel, citrus, black-currant, a touch of resin and a balanced spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

tombyars (1839) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - FEB 21, 2018
Tasted this at the Glasgow Beer Event on the 2nd February 2018. Keg dispense, 1/3 pint. Cloudy amber in colour with a thick off white head. Strong hop aroma with soft citrus and pine resin on the nose. Thin resiny mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malt gives a light digestive biscuit backbone with juicy tropical citrus fruit notes of kiwi, pineapple and passion fruit. Strong citrus aftertaste with hop resins imparting floral zesty grass and pine flavours. Hops continue into the finish with pine resins and fresh cut grass adding to the citrus pith. A decent session American Pale Ale.

Sweet stodgy aroma. 'As fresh as a daisy...' - give me a break. Some of the pulses creeping in too, not good. Nice orange, small tight head. Light palate, pleasant carbonation. Strange non-blend of a nice fruity taste and dull raw legumey malts. Finish gently bitter, a little peppery later. If they could have gotten rid of the pea-juice aspects, it would have gotten a higher score. But they didn't. So it didn't.

(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20171119) The beer poured amber and nearly clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, grass and malts. Palate was medium bodied with rather high carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grass, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A decent sessionable hoppy pale ale.

Tap at Angleterre. Slightly hazy golden colour, good firm white head and lace. Fruity citrusy aroma. Light-bodied. Fruity, pale malty, easy but very sessionable.
