Gitzwart, bruine schuimkraag, iets koolzuur langs het glas. Aroma: Bourbon, vanille, oak is upfront, roasty en chocolade. Smaak: Prima roasty, donker geroosterde mout. Daarna snel veel vanille en bourbon hinten, droog hout en iets spicy roggemout. Vol moutig... haver merk je voornamelijk aan het romige. Iets zoethout en ziltig, melkchocolade en ook een zoetje. Wat alcohol warmte maar niet overheersend. Volle body, vol en romig mondgevoel.  Agdronk is Bourbon, roasty. Top!

Bottle. Black creamy pour. Aroma of delicious Jim beam, caramel fudge, bourbon vanilla, milk chocolate, oak and booze. Taste has caramel fudge, subtle smoke, rich bourbon vanilla, milk chocolate, roasted malt, oak and a long rich bourbony finish. This is great.

Draft at Rootz Winterbier festival '17. Black with a creamy beige head. Aroma of alcohol, bourbon, oak, chocolate, fudge and marzipan. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Too boozy upfront but tasty when you get past that.

Tap at Rootz festival. Almost black with light brown head. Strong bourbon, red berries, thick fudge, some marzipan and alcohol, light roast, soft grass. Over medium sweet and medium bitter. Over medium bodied. A bit boozy but not bad.
