UPDATED: DEC 26, 2017 Bottle. Pours murky dark brown with small offwhite head. Aroma is felt, grain, apples, prunes, raisins, nutmeg and hints of cinnamon. Moderate lacing. Aroma is malty, sweet and intense. Some sourish bitterness as well. Sweet biscuits and caramel. Fermented fruit. Sharp sour notes. Medium carbonation and medium thick palate. Flavor is heavy sweet and sugary. Medium bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and a little cloying. A little bitter afterburn. A full sweet and slightly boozy biscuit.
