Nocturne (2356) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - JUL 15, 2018
Keg at Bundobust, Manchester. Dark black. Almost no head. Nails the mint chocolate taste. Creamy texture. Lactose sweetness. Not my favourite flavours but done pretty well.

1/5/2018. Keg at the Box Social, Newcastle. Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of mint, dark chocolate, cola and light roasting. Medium mint chocolate sweetness, minimal bitterness. Medium to full body, slick texture, average carbonation. Good. But in small doses.

Keg at The Head of Steam, Newcastle Upon Tyne. Black. Aroma has some minty notes, but it’s very subtle. Works very well with the roast malt and alcohol.

Chocolate, dust, and After Eight aroma. Black, brief head. After Eight and dust taste. Dead palate. Barky finish, drying. Done. Do I have to take a second sip? Not terrible, just so out of tune with my tastes. Strangely, from a "which glass should I finish?" perspective, this one wins out over the Kaamos. But mint, in particular, extract in beer is an abomination.
