Our Satsuma Witbier is a whirl of orange and banana aromas with a herb and spice mix with a dash of caramel sweetness too. We’ve used Cara, wheat and lager malts and a mix of Mandarina Bavaria and Huell Melon hops, as well as fresh satsuma juice, coriander and nutmeg for some fresh and fruity, spicy notes. At 4.7% abv, this spiced white ale is perfect served chilled on its own, or pair with orange-glazed duck.

Bright clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and dry, decent fine carbonation. Dry malts, not that sweet. A mildly perfumey floralness. Spicy mid that segues smoothly into the satsuma. Some peel on the dry finish. Too dry but otherwise okay.

Bottle directly from the brewery, courtesy of Claire and David (cheers you two) consumed at Lynn and Barry's, Saturday 3rd March 2018. Pours gold with a white head, it does have a mushy citrus flavour, soft mouthfeel, sweet. It's ok. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Bottle, pours amber with little head. A little spice, orange peel and a hint of rubber on the nose. Palate is spicy and earthy-dry, with notes of orange oil and caramel, and a pithy bitterness.

Krg at Pint Shop, stable small creamy head, clear palish bronze color, vibrant fresh clementine aroma with some spice, flavor just like biting into a piece of clementine fruit with a light malty backbone. Original and highly enjoyable, like standing in an orange grove and biting into a fruit.
