Keg @ Cafe Beermoth, Manchester. Dark cloudy-brown with a head. It's strong but not feeling its strength, with a pleasant smoothish dark malt taste.

The aroma is full of malt, dried fruits, toffee, fudge, caramel and coffee. The color is pitch black. The taste is full of malt, dried fruits, hops, toffee, fudge, caramel. The finish is long and bitter, quite unusual for a Barley WIne. Nice stuff!

Can. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate, mildly dry and with modest fine carbonation. Smooth malt, thin creamy sweetness. Very light toffee. Some liquorice in the mid and some spice. A bit of woody bitterness. Dry finish leaves a spicy linger. Tasty but lacks depth and maturity.
