Scopey (17571) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 15, 2018
Can at Craft CG - thanks! It pours dark near black with a small tan head. The aroma is rich, oily, earthy, damp wood, toffee, maple syrup, leather and fruit cake. The taste is dry, bitter, earthy, wood, leather, spice, chewy action, umami, dirt, spice, toffee, old leather sfa, rocky road and some alcohol warmth. Medium+ body and fine carbonation. Almost tastes old and oxidised..fair, but had hoped for more.

jercraigs (11709) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 15, 2018
2018-07-14. Very dark brown-black body, small tan head fades. 3+ Aroma is interesting. Lightly sweet at first, subtle fruit and malt character. Flavour is sweet then bitterness and light alcohol follows. Very lightly tangy undertones, fruit notes rise only to be overridden by the alcohol in the finish. Pleasant lingering tingle of alcohol and bitterness threatens to get rough as it warms. 7+ Smooth medium to full bodied palate, soft carbonation. Enjoyable. 7/3/7/4/16 Can best before 28-05-18. from Discount Supermarket, Cardiff.

BeardedAvenger (1687) - Addlestone, Surrey, ENGLAND - JUL 3, 2018
Can from Hogs Back Brewery shop. Malty aroma with underlying figs and berries. Dark somewhat opaque cola brown. Creamy beige head starts of well but fades quickly. Medium to heavy bitter. The taste matches the aroma with some hints of sweetness before the booze comes through. Thick bodied. Creamy. Average carbonation. Astringent but warming finish. Not necessarily a summer drink but not complaining about the warming feeling. Just a tad too astringent in the finish.

Svart med fingerhøyt lys brunt skum. Lukter engelsk lakris, tørket frukt, alkohol og brent karamell. Fyldig. Middels sødme. Maltig smak, brunt sukker, brent karamell, toast, alkohol, noe mineralsk og noe nøtter. Middels lang.

Cokemonkey11 (1330) - - MAY 17, 2018
Can. Dark dark brown with a medium tan foam subsiding. A bit oily. Scent is bubblegum and lovely barleywine yeast. Some sour properties. What a treat. Taste is consistent and familiar muddled barleywine. Some sharp bitter state. Too cold. As it warms it's gorgeous. Smooth and mature barley wine and no negative properties. Excellent.
