UPDATED: SEP 22, 2019 750 ml bottle poured into a teku. The beer is a hazy gold with a white head of foam. Fruity and sweet honey notes. Just a mild tartness. A touch dry and grassy. Medium body and moderate carbonation.

UPDATED: DEC 6, 2018 1/27/18. On tap at Bleu Cafe. Clear golden pour with a nice off-white head that sticks, good lacing. Hint of floral hops on the aroma, a touch of spice, all floating upon pale maltiness, dough, straw/hay. Doughy flavor, straw and hay, a touch of fruitiness, hints of floral and earthiness. Not bad.

750 ml. with no bottling date. Lightly foggy brass color with some legs and an enduring film of foam. Nose is white grape, earthy honeycomb, lemon grass and toast. Flavors of honey, dusty cheese, wheat cracker, dried grass and apricot. Medium bodied with near medium fizz and an easy drinking balance.

Nice collaboration from two great breweries, a spicy, saison-ish lager nestled snugly between the two styles. Grassy, citrus-tinged lager notes flow into subtle vanilla-clove farmhouse goodness, with straw and floral hops on the back end mixing with fruity esters and a semi-dry fade. Pillowy, bubbly texture is perfect, while the pour is a gorgeous hazed yellow-gold with an endless head and thick rings of lace. Nose is nothing to write home about, but otherwise a lovely brew.

Big bottle shared by a friend. This is hazy yellow with a firm head. Nice pils malt aroma. Light peppery notes from hops and yeast are present. Doesn't seem overly fruity. The body is spritzy and pretty dry. Soft fruits begin to develop in the flavor. Clean spicy hops highlight each sip. It's an interesting beer as it's not as clean as a lager nor as yeast driven as a true saison.

750ml bottle. Clear gold pour with a quickly diminishing head that reduces to web of tiny bubbles. Aroma is light sweet malt with a nice bit of European hops. Big fluffy white head that diminish quickly. Honey and grain. Nice hops. Floral. Delicious and very easy to drink.

On tap at Wakefest. Clear golden. Smells of floral hops and doughy bready malts. Tastes a little fruity up front with doughy malt and spicy rye. Back end is earthy hops and a touch of yeastiness. Fruitiness lingers in the finish with a long hop bitterness. Light body. Dynamic and flavorful. I know Wakefest is all about the adjuncts stouts, but this was the beer of the festival for me.

750ml at home. Hazy gold with a lasting, frothy white head. Grain, funky yeast, earth, biscuit, spice, barnyard. Zesty carbonation with a funky, spicy, dry finish. Excellent.

Refrigerated 75 cL brown bottle corked and capped poured into a tulip. Hazy golden with medium white head. Aroma is yeasty, medium body, medium carbonation, and big-bubble lacing. Taste is yeasty, dusty, a little spice, and pretty dry. I prefer the tart saison.

Bottle From Ashe's. Glod, with some loose foam. smells really nice, actually. Fruity (cherry?), some black pepper, and some funky, grassy notes. Nicely spritzy palate, which works here. Taste is a nice mix of lightly fruit and some spicy notes, with some rich yeasty flavors as it warms. I really enjoyed this.
