AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20Pleasant woody/fruity aroma--light hoppiness...Color is a glowing orange/bronze with a moderately light head but nice lattice-work lace. Flavor features a sweet malt front followed by mild hop bitterness and fruity overtones. Carbonation is mild, but its effervescent feel is courtesy of the mineral-rich brewing water that make Burton ales distinctive...Finish carries a touch of the intitial sweetness along with a mouth-filling mild dryness. This is medium-bodied with good balance and mouthfeel---mellow but flavorful...quite enjoyable...

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2023 500ml bottle. Small, light foam, amber, pale brown colour. Light co2. Taste is nut, grape, pear some simple hoppy aftertaste. Correct, easy drinking beer.

UPDATED: JUN 30, 2023 Аромат не сильный но очень классический для стиля. Много солода, немного травы с намеками на карамель, чутка нотки бочки и сливы со специями. Цвет темно карамельный, пенки почти нет. Вкус очень питкий, даже местами немного водянистый. Но все же очень сбалансированный, на месте и горечь от хмеля с ноткой трав и карамель с намеками на мед в послевкусие а также немного специй как будто. В целом мне зашло. Такая же версия как и основной.

UPDATED: JUN 26, 2023 Bottle. Pours slightly hazy amber with very small white head. Clear aroma of malt, with estery and hoppy touches. Bitter and estery flavour with malty touches. Bitter and citric aftertaste with estery notes. Not bad as such but rather tame.

UPDATED: MAR 17, 2023 0.5l bottle. A tiny bit murky amber body with a lasting pearl head. Aroma and taste of sweet apple juice, floral hops, pears and some toast. OK beer, but nothing extraordinary. Yet another MJ pokémon collected.

UPDATED: SEP 24, 2021 Escura acobreada ,límpida,translúcida,espuma bege cremosa mediana,no aroma e sabor,malte,caramelo e leve tosta;corpo médio,carbonatação idem,levíssimo amargor finaliza,álcool despercebido ,dulçor no retrogosto.
Boa Bitter,um tanto 'leve' para uma ESB.

UPDATED: OCT 16, 2020 Aroma : Toasted toffee maltiness, hints of peach & vanilla, a touch of spice and earth. Taste : Flavour is over-ridingly a very gently sweet malty toffee. Not horrible, but just a tad one-dimensional

Appearance - deep amber to brown. Off white head.
Nose - caramel and cake generally. A hint of orange if you really search it out.
Taste - mainly caramel.
Palate - close to medium bodied. Creamy texture, the finish could be fresher.
Overall - a bit on the sweet side. Would like some more biscuit bitterness.
