Our golden-yellow, alcohol-free wheat beer tastes like a premium wheat beer: tangy, fresh and full-bodied, with hints of cloves and honey as well as a fine yeasty spirit. The unique wheat beer taste is achieved by a method developed in collaboration with the Technical University of Munich-Weihenstephan: the top fermentation is not interrupted and the beer has time to mature, only after the maturation the alcohol is carefully withdrawn. It is a first-class thirst quencher after sports or a good companion to light summer dishes, sweet and sour dishes, or fruit sorbets. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.

puboflyons (5058) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - JUL 5, 2024
UPDATED: JUL 5, 2024 From a bottle stamped 6433 09 50 36. Pours a slightly cloudy golden under a huge frothy cream colored head. The aroma expresses toasted wheat, apricot, banana, clove, coriander, and light herbs. Enticing. The body is heavier than I would expect from a non-alcoholic brew. I get sweet wheat and deep spice notes in the taste. Mildly bitter.

pindolaire (707) - SPAIN - JAN 23, 2024

weizen-slayer (1210) - Passau, GERMANY - JAN 17, 2024

StuffWine (396) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - NOV 5, 2023
UPDATED: NOV 5, 2023 Pours just as the real deal, cloudy amber with big dense white head. Aroma wrong, of lager, corn and cardboard but with a slight off banana phenol and spice which attempts the style. Taste is similar to hefeweissbier, but soured and weaker, some spice. Body is light, watered mouthfeel, moderate length to finish. Well, there are elements of Weihenstephaner's great brew. But I'd rather drink the real thing or a nice icy fruit juice instead. Still is one of the better none alcohol options.

OminouSC2 (4326) - Mora, SWEDEN - OCT 30, 2023
UPDATED: OCT 30, 2023 Unclear golden color, small white head. Aromas of yeast, citrus, wheat and funky hints. Taste of wheat, citrus, yeast and slight pepper.

flying_pig (3134) - IRELAND - SEP 26, 2023
UPDATED: SEP 26, 2023 500ml bottle from Rewe supermarket, Berlin (€1.13): Dark, almost murky amber with a few bubbles through the body & an okay, foamy white head. Sweet with banana & cloves, very much like a regular hefe but definitely on the light side with a bit of coriander & bubblegum too. The taste is a little weaker still, there's the banana & bubblegum with a hint of clove & some floral touches but it's quite light with softer carbonation than normal for a hefe too.

kalervo (1243) - FINLAND - AUG 26, 2023
UPDATED: AUG 26, 2023 Kotona 8/2023. Full-bodied and balanced, very nice non alcohol weisse, close enough to a real deal.

BarleyTasty62 (886) - - JUN 19, 2023
UPDATED: JUN 19, 2023 Bottle. Cloudy golden. Clove, dust, banana. Taste is very soft. Very very soft. Clove. No bitterness. Guess alright.

Moretum (2204) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - MAY 17, 2023
UPDATED: MAY 17, 2023 Trübe orange gelbe Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Hefiger, malziger Geruch mit Banane. Geschmacklich flacht es ab, dennoch noch gute malziger Noten und etwas Banane. Hohe Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, leichter Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Graham77 (619) - SCOTLAND - APR 15, 2023
UPDATED: APR 15, 2023 1 litre on tap in Weihenstephaner Berlin. Press a cloudy orange colour with a pillowy head which retains well. Aroma is wheat, banana and significant clove. Taste is less appealing than other AF wheat beers I have tried such as Paulaner and Maisels Weisse. A bit thin and watery with a grainy bready wheat body and clove quick finish. Ok but not one I would look out for.
