UPDATED: JUL 9, 2020 I enjoyed this, not loved it, not a gigantic fan of the style, but I especially like the hoppier American versions like this. Big, intense, hoppy, sweet, malty, boozy. Cousin_Larry (1001) - - MAY 30, 2020
UPDATED: MAY 30, 2020 Bought a crowler from Three Cellars, who put all my beer in my trunk at a curbside pickup. Love that place! I actually thought this was a DIPA instead of a barleywine. Aroma is straight booze. Pours amber with a thick head that leaves moderate lacing. Flavor is sweet caramel with a pretty wickedly bitter aftertaste. I love booze so this works for me. UPDATED: MAR 1, 2020 1300ty bottle 20 bucks ish fishers Indiana. Rated on 6 and 5 birthday s for the kids. Aromas big hops pine citrus, sweet caramel, zesty. Flavors a big hop balence with a malt profile of citrus, pine, earth hops, sweet caramel, toffee, floral. Very sweet medium bitter finish, no alcohol noticed. A big BW that has big hop kicks that dont show up in most BW on the market. Fantastic beastly Brew! coachd (2327) - O'Fallon, Missouri, USA - MAY 19, 2019
UPDATED: MAY 19, 2019 Aroma of raisins, honey/brown sugar and booze. see through amber color. Light flavor, a bit nondescript. Tastes strangely like black tea. Smooth palate. This is unlike any other barleywine I have had. willisread (6518) - Farmington Hills, Michigan, USA - FEB 19, 2019
UPDATED: FEB 19, 2019 Bottle shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Thanks Joe! Pours a deep golden amber with a finger of foam that lingers. Grassy hops, toasted caramel, toasted molasses and big, chewy breaded malt aromas. Nice and dry on the palate with more toasted whole grain bread, honey, toffee raisin and faint smoked caramel. Great peppery hop and grassy notes towards the finish. A big beer but great balance and not overly sweet like a lot of #bil these days.

UPDATED: JAN 25, 2019 Birthday Beer. I believe it is a 2011 although the wax looks more grey but without a Grey option, I will take white. Pours dark copper brown with a small off white wisp. Aroma is sweet caramel with a small alcohol burn. Some raisin and plum. Taste is awesome. It has held up sooo well. Sweetness with a light alcohol burn. Light raisin and plum. Smooth and creamy. More please! L_Lovecraft (1133) - - DEC 29, 2018
