UPDATED: MAR 23, 2019 Can from Bottlecraft, Hanley. Pours a black colour with a thin tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate, chilli, some coffee, spice, cinnamon, slight biscuit, bourbon, a little smoke and subtle vanilla. Taste of chocolate, cocoa, moderate chilli, some coffee, biscuit, slight bourbon, vanilla, spice, a hint of smoke and subtle cinnamon. Medium bodied and soft to moderate carbonation. A lingering, warming chilli and chocolate bitterness in the finish. The closest you can get to chilli chocolate in a glass, add a a touch of bourbon barrel aging for added complexity. A lovely beer, the chilli isn’t too strong and the body is full but easily drinkable. Mortlach (3273) - Rome, ITALY - MAR 20, 2019
UPDATED: MAR 22, 2019 Can @Luppolo Station (Rome). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma scura color cappuccino. Al naso note intense di cioccolato fondente, quindi scaldandosi emerge caffè verde, peperoncino, peperone. In bocca è dolce all'attacco con finale amaro e piccante. Corpo pieno, carbonazione media. Buona, anche se sia lunga stufa. LazyPyro (3368) - Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - MAR 13, 2019
UPDATED: MAR 13, 2019 330ml can. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aroma of fresh chillis, cinnamon, very spicy. Taste of hot chillis, cinnamon, spices, chocolate, vanilla, very very warming, loving the heat from this. Medium-full body, soft carbonation. Not usually a lover of the heat from chilli beers but I loved this one, works really well. Iznogud (6470) - CROATIA - MAR 10, 2019
UPDATED: MAR 10, 2019 Canned, 330 ml from the Drink Store. Shared with Max. Black with brownish head. Chocolate, spicy, cinnamon, cocoa, some medium chilli burn. Quite thin for what it is. JackMandarin (625) - Aberdour, SCOTLAND - FEB 24, 2019
UPDATED: FEB 24, 2019 Can from RadBeer. Pours with a thick-iiiish, slightly oily-looking texture. Thin, tan coloured head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is rich with those sweet an' boozy bourbon notes and a ton of that earthy chilli. The chipotle morita is the most upfront adding to that smoked malt addition. The cumin comes through quite strongly too, y'know, with that freshly toasted and crushed earthy aromatic vibe.....which.....is a little weird. Cumin?......beer?......I'm struggling with it tbh. There's lots of rich dried fruit notes with raisin and dates. I get coconut too which is strange. The taste has a mash up of more boozy bourbon notes with a warmth from that mix of chillies and the very earthy spice addition. There's a savoury, almost bovril-esque, beef chilli thing to this. Very soft carbonation. Medium to heavyweight mouthfeel. Gentle chilli heat. It's an exceedingly complex brew with each sip bringing a new layer of focused flavour. It's rich (a little too rich perhaps) and I think I'd be happier if they left the cumin out but I fully commend this beer for bringing forth all the flavours of all the ingredients it lists on the can.

Black. Almost no head.
Spicy aroma with milky chocolate.
Some modest burning chili in the flavour. Scrumpy369 (1203) - Budapest, HUNGARY - FEB 9, 2019
UPDATED: FEB 9, 2019 On tap at brewdog bar. Black colour brown microfoam with low retention. Nose is booze, vanilla, spices. Lotta booze. Taste is medium high bitterness, intense heat from the chilies, cinnamon in the end. Some curry maybe? Alcohol is there in the taste as well, despite beeing 'just' 10 abv, and a surprising hit of bitterness in the beginning.
