COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: 2 row German pale malt; Czech Saaz, German Northern Brewer hops.
Heaps o’ hops are hiding under the full, frothy head of this elegant Pils. All German malt subtleties linger beneath a long dry finish of this classy quencher. One of Michael Jackson’s 500 Classic Brews

tmoreau (7309) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - MAR 18, 2021
UPDATED: MAR 20, 2021 On tap at Brook's Kitchen & Tap in Oakbrook Terrace, IL. dispensed to a shaker showing a slightly hazed, golden tone, with a fluffy layer of white froth, and wavy bands of foam as lacing. The aroma was light flora & fruit, mild graininess, with wheat-like & hay scent that grew stronger and less appealing on each return to the nose. Light to medium bodied, with decent carbonation, the flavor finished somewhat dry, with bitterness that was a little too peppery & earthy for my preference in a Pilsner. Recall being more impressed at inception, but didn't review at the time.

A little bitter, but I liked it! It was great with pizza! Not my favorite but very enjoyable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

DrNosha (6048) - Württemberg, GERMANY - JAN 15, 2021
UPDATED: JAN 15, 2021 12oz Flasche. Gelb und sanft trüb. Luftig weisser Schaum. Grasiger Hopfenduft. Ein Hauch würziger Honig. Ordentlich bitterer Hopfenantrunk. Norddeutsch! Die Bitternoten bleiben auf der Zunge. You know: between Leber and Milz, passt always a Pils 🤪 Amtliches Pils.

UPDATED: FEB 18, 2020 Keg at Stanton Public, New York on 03/04/2008. A fairly nice pils, although I wasn’t as mad for it as its reputation suggests.

retinadoc (339) - - MAY 17, 2019
UPDATED: MAY 25, 2019 Bottle. Prominent yeasty pilsner aroma and flavor. Quite bitter with bitter aftertaste. Like a fortified pilsner, compared to Pilsner Urquell or even Heineken, despite relatively low ABV of 5.3%.

BarelyCynical (72) - - MAR 21, 2019
UPDATED: MAR 21, 2019 Pours a hazy straw color, with a small head and no lacing. Nose is very breath with lemon and pine complementing. Taste follows with plenty of bread, cereal, lemongrass, and light earthiness. Finish is bitter with just a smidge of biscuits. Much bolder than most pilsners...more like a bready pale ale which is fine with me.
